Libera peer groups create safe spaces for girls to feel seen and heard as they overcome barriers and get connected to resources for a brighter future. We know our groups are making a difference. Research shows our evidence-based LIBERA model decreases symptoms of anxiety and depression in girls and increases their life satisfaction.
Libera provides Listening Groups on our Libera Model for teens.
Libera provides peer support groups using our LIBERA Model to support the mental health of teens.
Our Libera Model provides a framework for girls and young women to tell their stories, identify the barriers and lies in their stories, and connect to resources to overcome their barriers.

Our groups are led by trained Libera Listeners (mentors), and typically run 8 to 10 weeks. Groups can be in person or virtual. We have done groups on Zoom, in public schools, libraries, foster residential homes, juvenile detention centers, and more. Teen groups are formed through youth organizations, groups, and facilities through an adult point person.
